There was once a boy who born with a doll on his shoulders.

The doll followed him wherever he went. No matter the day or occasion, it whispered nasty things into his ears.

“Look at that teacher, she looks angry, she must not like you very much. You are unloveable.”

When the boy was having fun with his friends, the doll whispered, “This happiness wouldn’t last. Your friends do not truly love you. They are just making use of you.”

The boy felt sad and lonely.

One day, the little boy met a little girl who was beautiful but very lonely.

Unbeknownst to him, the little girl was just like him — She had a doll on her shoulders.

He approached the little girl and said, “Let’s be friends.”

The little girl’s doll said, “No, he are just making use of you. He does not truly love you. You are unloveable.”

The little boy’s doll said, “Look at her worried face, she does not think that you are good enough to be her friend.”
