Introduction
I have always been piqued by the quotes of Chesterton. However, It is only in recent months that I have drawn up enough impetus to pick up his written work for perusal — and how much I loved it.
I am an avid fan of both crime novels and christian reading. G.K. Chesterton was able to combine both these genres into a gem for reading.
In his ‘Father Brown’ series, the main protagonist (AKA Father Brown) seeks to solve or avert crimes. In many instances, he succeeds in talking the criminals out of their sinful ways.
This is often done through the sacrament of reconciliation where he offers the would-be criminals confessions under strict confidence.
It was a wonderful read.
